There are many authorized pavers out there, but it takes extra dedication and craftsmanship to hold this name. We are proud to have invested both the time and the commitment to our customer satisfaction to be called a Master Craftsman. We believe you as our customers will feel proud too, because the quality of our work in your hardscape will speak for itself.
BEYOND A CONTRACTOR
Must meet all BAC requirements, have an employee complete the ICPI Residential Paver Technician Course AND have 5 years install experience
COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION
Must attend 3 educational events provided by or approved by Belgard (yearly basis)

All Belgard Authorized Contractors looking to become a Master Craftsman must complete the following requirements:
– Must meet all BAC requirements
– Recognized as a winner of at least 1 national award OR 2 local awards for projects in the past 24 months
– Must have an employee complete the ICPI Residential Paver Technician Course
– Must have 5 years install experience
– Must be authorized in 2 of the following areas:
• Pavers
• Retaining Walls
• Belgard Elements
• Belgard Certified Applicator
– Must meet 2 of the following installation requirements as it relates to your areas of authorization within a 12 month period prior to applying for Master Craftsman status:
• 20,000 SF of Belgard Pavers
• 3,000 SF of Belgard Wall Product
• 7 projects containing at least one Belgard Element
• Clean and seal 25 paver projects
– 5 year workmanship guarantee
– Must attend 3 educational events provided by or approved by Belgard
– Must hold BAC status for 3 years prior in at least 1 area.
– 100% service satisfaction commitment
In addition to the initial requirements, all Master Craftsmen must submit to these yearly requirements:
– Maintain authorized status in at least two areas
– Must install/perform the following as it relates to your areas of authorization:
• 20,000 SF of Belgard pavers each year
• 2,000 SF of Belgard wall product each year
• 7 projects containing a Belgard Element each year
• Clean and seal 25 paver projects each year
– Must attend 3 educational events provided by or approved by Belgard
– Maintain 100% service satisfaction commitment
ICPI CERTIFIED
ICPI certification is the industry standard. If you are looking to hire a paver installer, this is the measure of a dedicated contractor.
The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute® (ICPI), founded in 1993, is the North American trade association representing the interlocking concrete paving industry. Their certification program for residential and commercial paver installers is industry-recognized for professionals, such as Pavers 4 Less, who are committed to industry guidelines. According to ICPI, certification is “a testament to your level of investment in your profession that demonstrates your knowledge and skills for interlocking concrete pavement installation best practices.”
Certification Requirements:
- Attend an ICPI Concrete Paver Installer course.
- Earn a passing score of 75% or higher on the exam.
- Complete and submit an Application for Certification (documenting required installation experience of at least 5 projects and 10,000 sq. ft.)
(Once issued, certification is valid for two-years. During each two year term, ICPI Certified Installers must earn 8 continuing education credits in order to renew certification.)
COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION
Our ICPI certification demonstrates our commitment to the interlocking concrete pavement industry profession, shows our ability to meet national guidelines and expands our skills and knowledge through continuing education.

• Must be recommended by a Belgard Authorized Dealer or Sales Rep
• Have at least one ICPI certified staff member; for walls, at least one NCMA/SRW certified person on staff
• Satisfy installation requirements
• Provide proof of insurance
• Provide proof of home improvement or state license if required
• Users of Techniseal product must complete the Certified Applicator course
